Accounting and Fiscal Services provides professional financial services to UCI students, faculty, and staff, supporting their efforts to change the world through discovery and learning. Led by the University Controller, Accounting and Fiscal Services is also a steward of UCI's financial resources, safeguarding our financial future in compliance with university, state, and federal regulations.
Design & Construction Services (D&CS) is a group of dedicated architects, engineers, project managers, inspectors, contract administrators, and support staff responsible for the implementation and management of the Campus and Medical Center Capital Improvement Program.
Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Services provides reliable and innovative services to the campus community, represent a dependable, flexible organization where trust, respect and teamwork are key elements to achieving goals. The goal of EH&S is to integrate safety into the culture of our community while supporting academic and research excellence. Risk Services develops strategies to minimize the impact of risk, reduce costs, and improve safety. The result is a safe and healthy environment with appropriate compliance, protection of assets and efficient execution of business processes.
Facilities Management takes pride in sustaining the daily operation, repair, and maintenance of UCI buildings and grounds. Facilities Management partners with campus customers to accomplish alterations, improvements, and renovations of physical facilities.
Internal Audit Services (IAS) provides the University of California (UC) Regents, President, and UCI Chancellor independent and objective assurance and consulting services by assessing and monitoring the campus community in the discharge of their oversight, management, and operating responsibilities. IAS brings a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
Procurement Services is responsible for procurement, contracts, and equipment management. Purchasing develops relationships with departmental buyers, campus clients, and suppliers. The Contracts team reviews business agreements for all entities that furnish services to UCI. Equipment Services is involved with the purchase of capital asset equipment, tracking inventory, and the disposition of assets.
UCI Public Safety vigorously performs their mission of public service to the UCI community with the highest ethical standards. The Patrol Division has twenty-four hour uniformed patrol coverage and our Investigations Unit consists of highly trained detectives. UCIPD provides on-going crime prevention educational programs, and a Communications Center staffed with certified Public Safety Dispatchers. The Emergency Management Division is responsible for coordination and implementation of disaster preparedness and response planning for the university.
Transportation & Distribution Services provides UCI permit services, guest and event services, distribution and mail services, sustainable transportation and traffic management, and manages fleet services. The staff of Transportation & Distribution Services takes great pride in their ability to serve you with excellence in all aspects of our work.
UC Irvine campus and Medical Center are part of the UCPath Project implementation. The UCPath project is the largest shared service effort in higher education nationwide. When it is fully functional, UCPath will serve 190,000 UC employees across ten campuses, five medical centers, and other University facilities.
